The American Lung Association in New Mexico presents Peak the Plaza, the 2010 Fight for Air Climb at TODAY at Civic Plaza Downtown. 19 Floors/38 flights/428 steps to the top of Allegiance Realty’s Albuquerque Plaza Building and one sweet elevator ride down.
Your support helps the American Lung Association in New Mexico in the Fight for Air. With lung disease on the rise, we are fighting for research that will find a cure for tomorrow. We are fighting for those who can’t quit smoking and those who shouldn’t start. We are fighting for lungs that burn from exercise rather than from ozone. We are fighting for asthma education to stop children from dying from asthma attacks. We are fighting for laws that improve air quality both inside and out. And we won’t breathe easy until we can win the fight. Each step taken brings the American Lung Association in New Mexico one step and one breath closer to achieving our mission “to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease.”

Artists and Designers,
We want you! Please show us what you’ve been creating in the line of fashion in the 505. We are looking to show off your style at the To-Go Fashion Show on Thursday, April 1st. (Hoodies, arm warmers, t-shirts, skirts, leggings, belts, transit-themed jewelry, etc. This is a great excuse to board a bus together in style, shoot a music video that educates how to use public transit in ABQ, and have a jolly good time.)
We are taking the show on the road, and boarding a Rapid Ride 777 from Downtown Alvarado Transportation Center, and are looking for 12 great lines of local style
Thanks!
This is going to be so much fun~
